It isn't bashing bullies though I think that would be a good cause as well.
Bully Bash was a pit-bull awareness event hosted by our local SPCA to bring to light so-called bully breeds.
Just like German Shepherds and Dobermans before them the get a lot of flak. Dogs turn vicious due to neglect or outright abuse it usually isn't the animal's fault.
I've seen many bully breeds be the most loving and protective dogs I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with yes and I've seen some I wouldn't go near and that saddens me.
I've heard about dog fighting and it sickens me to the soul that anybody takes any kind of enjoyment from animal fights.
I've even heard it defended as a cultural thing I wouldn't understand. Your right and I choose not too. If it is part of your culture that have animal blood sports then sorry it's not right. Slavery and woman subjugation were cultural things to. Yes and in some places it still is. Doesn't make right because it's a cultural thing so if you use that excuse I'm sorry it doesn't hold water.
I'm getting off track with that. The point is the Miracle Mead Men are dog lovers we all have a dog or dogs and we love them very much. They are all rescue dogs as well.
I have some pictures here from the event and some of them are of dogs that are up for adoption they are adorable, friendly and very lovable.

Now before the puppies I want to say something about pet adoption.
I don't like purebreds not because they can't make great pets many of them do but I've seen so many of them that have been overbred that they are subject to many problems because their gene pool isn't diversified nearly enough.
When you are thinking about a Pet please go to a shelter first before you go to a pet store or a breeder. Their are a lot of animals that can use a good home and they can be some of the best friends you'll ever have. If you have to have a purebred look for the pure bred rescue operations first. Mainly if your thinking about a particular breed they have special needs and the rescue groups can tell you what to expect because they want the animals to have a good home and aren't just trying to make a buck.
Now only a few of these pups are up for adoption but they are all special.
